THE HOUSE of BLUE LEAVES, 2010

An evening of irrational entertainment

Art Gallery of NSW, Sydney

Performed in the AGNSW foyer this was probably the most difficult to realize of the Ken Unsworth/ADA productions so far, simply because of the venue. As well as dealing with a stone floor and a very low ceiling the stage and the seating bank had to be removed after each gallery rehearsal and show.

However, due to the fantastical constructions, and the performers’ engagement with them, magic was still achieved.
